Engine Code Question 200 1993

Bruce
I think it was in the mode 2 plug, but the # 6 plug also gives a loss of RPM signal. I was not testing the various items in mode 2.
The car began stalling but would restart right away, this happened several times over a couple day period. Finally it didn't start in the driveway, I searched for codes it came up. I had suspected the RPM sensor and felt pretty good when the code came up that I had easily found the problem. Got a new sensor and it has run like a champ ever since. The wires insulation was rotted off near the connector, I assumed they were periodically shorting. Hope this helps. Dan
