LOST 700 1987

The valve clearance specs listed in my book are ; cold/checking .012-.016, adjusting .014-.016. hot/checking .014-.018 adjusting .016-.018. As long as you can get a .012 feeler under it (cold), it should be fine. A little tight, but OK. An .014 should make it happy. If you have more time than money, or the right valve tools, you can just remove the cam to replace the hushers, or re-do the adjustment shims/disc if you think they are too tight.
