who has experience with electric cooling fan instead of engine driven fan. 120-130

Can't attest to the fan providing any more mileage or horsepower and my electric fan is actually a little loud when it turns on....

Water enters the radiator from the top, so it seems to me the quickest 'response' would come from having the sensor at the top, not to mention it's easier to get at if/when you have to remove it for whatever reason, and depending on where you've mounted your thermostatic control the fragile tube to the sensor doesn't have to travel as far.

With the thermostat I have in my amazon, the temp needle stays at just about the middle of the guage. I have my electric fan set to turn on when the temp guage gets two millimeters or so above that- it kicks in if I'm stuck at a traffic light longer than about two cycles (in hot weather at least).
