who has experience with electric cooling fan instead of engine driven fan. 120-130

I'm planning on replacing my electric fan and adjustable thermostat with the following:

flex-a-lite model 140 (12-inch electric pusher fan->does not include the thermostat switch) $107-Summit racing(http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=flex-a-lite+130&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp&x=31&y=11)
-> I would keep away from the mount "through-the-radiator" type of electric fans. It will cause the radiator to leak -> the reason I'm switching.

Saab 900 (79-94) Radiator fan switch- $13-The Saab Site (It mounts into the radiators of Saabs, but it's the same thread as Saab 900 (79-94) A/C cut-off switch holder thread. So, it mounts right in. Will turn fan on at 82 degrees C (180F) and off at 77 degrees C (170F)
(http://www.thesaabsite.com/900old/c900heating-cooling.htm)
Part number 547572/82 (900 79-94 Thermo Contact Switch 16V opens 77-82 degrees Townsend recommendation)-> also available in different temperature ranges (87/92 degree C).

Saab 900 (79-94) A/C cut-off switch holder - $15 from the junkyard(This is a switch holder mounted in the upper radiator hose to shut off the A/C if the engine gets too hot. The switch can't be used because it only shuts off at a certain temperature. I'm told that this setup works best when switch is mounted in the lower radiator hose.)

Bosch Relay (#0332209159 20/30A)-$5 (to run the fan)

The switch in the hose seems to be a better setup than the thermostat switch that is stuck on the outside of the radiator.
