Door / Map pockets 200

Cutting the feet off has lingered in my mind too.
I've had my volvo since new in late '88. I have better then 255K on the odometer. Why is it that the Drivers side Map pocket is perfect and the Passenger side has been glued and reglued and reinforced more times then I can remember?
I don't have a source for these pockets, I'm thinking the door might look fine without it on that side of the car but I'm too stubborn to just take it off. It's a principle thing.

Good Luck
