Installing my new Isky cam 140-160 1971

I have torn the engine down to the timming gears and set up the engine to be at TDC on No. 1. However when I look at the timming gears the mark on the larger fiber gear is 180 deg away from the mark on the crankshaft gear.

That position is TDC on No.1 & No.4, firing on No.4.
Turn the crank anther full turn to get to TDC on No.1 & No.4 with firing on No.1


Have you get the engine out of the car? Is the head off?
