Slightly off-topic 200 1984

Did you know that the older Fiat twin cams (from the '70s at least) use the same shims as the Volvo?

A friend gave me a complete Fiat dealer set years ago (I had a '75 Fiat 131). They must tend to be thicker, as over time most of my "Volvo sizes" got used up, even with swapping them about. Still have plenty over 4,0mm though. And a bunch of used thinner ones that are still good.

P.S.
Those NOS carbs I mentioned long ago turned out to be mainly some badly corroded bowls, pistons, and a few other bits. Nothing exciting after all.
