Checking my AMM with a DVOM... HELP! 200

Prety sure the Bentley manual has something on testing. When I did htis I did it with the harness attached. ie the car is running normally. Peal back the connector cover to access the pins.
There is some static ohms tests you can make on ones with an adjustment pot.
It sems to me it was a rough sort of test, if you have a momentary or intermittant problem it may not show up in the tests, but the computer would catch it i think..
