Help...again. rough after starting/random stalling...causing an accident 200

Our 83 had somewhat similar symptoms which turned out to be caused by a split in the accordion ducting from the Air Mass Meter to the throttle body. A thorough check requires removal of the duct (two hose clamps) and inspection of all pleats in good light. A leak here causes air to bypass the AMM, fooling the computer as to how much fuel the engine needs. The result is bucking and lurching esp. on acceleration, and possibly stalling.
