Strange wind noise, going nuts!

Apply tape to the windshield and see if that stops the noise. You could then remove portions and see at what point the noise returns and seal the glass at that spot. If the noise does not stop, then possibly the intake air for the heater maybe at fault. This way you are pin pointing the affected area.
