Finally got the leak fixed ..and lo and behold!!

Had a leak in the area of the oil filter - the Volvo dealership nearby fixed it cheap.

I am amazed that since then (two weeks back) I have virtually no oil use. This is a 760 turbo w/ 124K - and is the first turbo out of four that I have owned that used no oil.

Most of the posts I have read say that I should expect some oil use with a turbo. Have I got something unusual here?
