Finally got the leak fixed ..and lo and behold!!

I guess so. Thanks for the confirmation.

I was really surprised though. The motor - even with low miles - is not that quiet at idle. I bought the car with 107K on it, and have had to do quite a bit to bring it up to snuff. Now that I think on it, I am pretty sure that the prior owner had a new turbo installed. That would probably account for it not using oil - in addition to having piston slap.
