Spare 'donut' tire

I have a full size spare in my spare tire well. Most of the people I know with 700's and 900's have full size spares in the back of the car. Remember those donut spares are only good for 50 miles according to Volvo. That isn't 50 miles per use but the life of the tire is 50 miles as far as Volvo is concerned.
