16/21 is the best I get with my 74 4speed.

The mileage could maybe be improved by raising the compression on the "F" head and switching to a new fuel injection system mapped for economy. I think this could at best get you 2 or 3 extra MPG (Educated Guess) so likely not worth the modifications.
