Dead tps sensor? 700 1989

rich running more likely lead to stuck or dead tps= throttle position switch.
Located on the intake manfold behind the throttle cable little black box.
With the engine "off" turn the throttle and check if the black box clicks.
If it doesnt then the switch is bad. If so replace with a good one & clean
the throttle body intake while the sensor is off. I would also replace your
air cleaner & clean all the dust off the amm too. Goodluck Brickster!
