Looking at a 144 140-160 1969

Can you elaborate a little on the extra metal in the pilllars of the 67-69's?

What's that all about?

(I just bought a '69 144)

And thanks for pointing out some of the benefits of these overlooked, unappreciated models.

I bought this one because it is a very good copy of my first car/Volvo

Around here, there are always lots of P1800's and some 200's, but few late-60's 140's so, I had to buy it for nostalgia sake.
