Trans-flush and radiator replacement order.

Seth:

I think the first thing I would do would be to soak the transmission cooler line fittings to the old radiator really good with PBlaster, giving them several applications over several days time. Seeing as how you live in the salt belt, they could be pretty well corroded on, and very tough to get off. I've twisted one off before trying to loosen it on my old New Jersey car.

Why do you need 4 gallons of coolant? The system only holds about two gallons, and you'll want a 50/50 mix of coolant and (preferably distilled) water.

If your 940 has the rubber coolant lines going to the oil filter holder, I'd replace those now too, if they're the originals.
