B20F to B21F conversion. 140-160 1974

Stock HP levels in the B21 and B20 really aren't that far apart. And some of the warmer B20's make more power than some of the B21's. The only OHC motors that really move upwards in power are the turbo models. And even then, the early non-intercooled B21's had around 130 hp, the same as the best B20E.

OF COURSE, the B20E was tested under looser guidelines and is almost certianly an optimistic figure. And getting more power out of a B21FT was just a matter of adding an intercooler and upping the boost.

I don't recall seeing anyone that made mounts for this. It's one of those little 'roll your own' areas involved in a swap like this. AFAIK no one makes neat little conversion kits like the ones sold to put SBC and SBF motors into 240's and 740's.
