If you are planning on keeping your car for a while, then consider a cat-back system from Volvo-- cheaper than you might guess and guaranteed for as long as you own the car. I paid $238 CDN for my system from the local dealer-- I suspect discount places like Borton Volvo would do better...

Expect aftermarket stuff to last about 3 years or so, particularly if you live in the rust belt and/or you make a lot of short trips.
