overdrive 1800

Its my son's car. He bought it and I drove to Dallas, rolled it up on a trailer and brought it home (Tulsa). We got it started and drove it around the block, it has a bad head in it, not unexpected, but we never got to overdrive. I think the switch is bad anyway. I just wondered if there was some test while it is out. You are right about doing all we can to the trans while it is out that we can.
