Our local Dollar Stores sometimes have those 12v keyfob batteries for - you guessed it - a dollar. The current draw is so low that it should last a while. And I agree with Chandrakumar, try that regular 9v battery first - the connectors are readily available, as are the batteries, and my clock kept running even when the battery in the car was nearly dead - like 7-8 volts - so it should do fine. Again, current draw should not be an issue with a quartz movement like this, so I'd use battery power.
