Thanks for all the suggestions. think I'll track down some of those batteries. I recently cleaned out my collection of AC to DC convertors. I definitely want to keep the internals of the 940 clock. Volvo or VDO put them in a clear plastic case behind the bezel. Out of the dashboard, it makes for a great looking little clock...
