Throttle cable replacement 200 1984

The yuletide car repairs continue.

I'm replacing the throttle cable on my 240 (manual, no cruise control). The plastic sheathing that attaches to the bracket near the TB is broken and the cable itself is fraying and sticking so that the engine races.

Replacement looks pretty straight ahead. Anything tricky to look out for?
