Throttle cable replacement 200 1984

Might be a good idea to clean inside the throttle body first. A little extra work plus you'd need a new gasket. But that would be up to you. If it's just sooty you could wipe it clean without removing. But if it's really cruddy with built up gunk I'd take it off and clean it properly.
Then follow the adjustment procedure outlined in Haynes or Bentley (if you have one or the other) after installing the cable. I can't describe that from memory but can transcribe it from the book if you need.
