Bem,

It should just require removing the black rubber cap located on the instrument cluster clear plastic face plate ,just below the speedo, and gently pushing the plastic pin under it in with a small philips screw driver or ball point pen to reset the service light. Re-insert the rubber cap and you are good for another 5K. There may be some other re-set on your Brick, see other service light posts currently on the Board. My 95 944T re-sets this way.
