If you need a new compressor, get a new Sanden 709 from www.nostalgicairparts.com ( let him know that you need one with fill ports on the back )
It is a larger compressor and more efficient, makes a 240 cold. bolts right in , only mod is to move the AMM bracket up about an inch to clear the low pressure hose.

If you want to do it right,get the conversion kit fom Volvo or FCP groton that has the upgrade evaporator.
