Mine did that too, mostly on the rear doors, but it is an unusual condition because the door typically sags down...but if you're that close, your door hinges (and latch) could maybe use some adjustment...how do the rest of the gaps to the body on the offending door look?

Also try removing the (thick) rubber protector and replacing it with just a layer of vinyl electrical, or gaffer tape...equally protective but a lot thinner...it might buy you just that little bit of gap you need. You might just try reseating the foot.
