DOH!!!
thanks to both of you for the heads up on the obvious stuff. I've done install of anti-sway bars, fixed door locks, window regulators, etc., but have stayed away from the electrical stuff just out of cowardice. All the things that you mentioned sounded like possibilities, just from what I have read so far.
