If your worst cylinder is only .006" over I'd recommend that you get the
cylinders honed smooth and not tapered and use std pistons and rings.

Are you serious George? .006" is fairly well rooted, the pistons run with .002" of clearance. You can't hone out .006", it would actually be quicker to bore & hone to the first available oversize.
