The interchange on the wheels might not be ideal-- I kept the short spoke alloys that came on my '89 760GLE when it was wrecked and tried installing them on my '92 245-- the wheels bolt up fine, but the center caps don't fit because there isn't enough clearance between the dust cap on the hub and the edge of the rim. It was puzzling to me, because I was sure I saw pictures of these rims on somebody's 240 here on Brickboard.
