Ah. That all makes sense. If I were in the same situation, I'd probably do the same. For a moment, I was really questioning the notion of having a fuel line inside the cabin. Then again, we just don't have the rust issues out here. I plead ignorance. But it's blissful ignorance. As long as you dno't mind 300 days of rain.
