Pedal problem 120-130

I took everything apart again and the pedals are exactly the same and I pulled them out of a manual 122s from a junkyard. The brake pedal almost touches the gas pedal that is how close they are. I'm thinking of bending the gas pedal and using a sledge on the tunnel. Any ideas???
