probably not the horns fault.... 200

Use the relay, here's why.

1. Lower current draw through the steering wheel contacts means less arcing and pitting there, contacts stay better longer.

2. Higher current available to the horns, means LOUDER noise.

Relay to use? Almost any of the cube-shaped ones. Power windows, central locks. 1983-84 fuel system, and there are probably more. Grab one or two from a junkyard, and grab the base, too. Cut the wires as long as possible.

How to connect? Another brickster will have that. Since the horn circuit is ground-side controlled it's not the "normal" connections.
