flushing with synthetic S90-V90

Hi guys --- my new '97 965 still has the lifetime fluid in it !!! at 94k. I was going to flush this weekend following the method outlined in the FAQ (at the tranny line at the radiator inlet).

Do you recommend I use M1 synthetic? Is it ok to mix that with the original stuff? I know I will flush untill it's nice and pink/red, but, still it makes me wonder. And if not, is there a brand of ATF that you guys can recommend? Thanks! Chris
