Nah, that would never happen here. Here we're all straight-shooters, our word is our bond, we live and die by our commitments, a contract is a matter of honor (sorry, honour) and our hand-shake is as good as our signature (unless our name happens to be John Hancock and we like flourishes). Now, I have clear title to a bridge over the east branch of a river that connects two well-populated areas in the State of New York, which I'll be putting up on eBay pretty soon . . . .
