Volvo 142/105 engine question 140-160

Stein!
With the number you gave me, 4969 1-419303, I think a digit is missing before
the hyphen. There should be 6 digits. Here's what I found in that range of
numbers:
496901 B20A, 90 SAE HP, A cam, 1 Stromberg carb, P121/221 8/68 & following
496910/11/12/13 B20B, 118 SAE HP, C cam, carbs not described, some used in P122 8/68 & following (100 DIN HP)
496914 does not appear on any of my lists.
496917 B20B 101 DIN HP (SAE HP not given) C cam
496918-496921 B20A, 82-85 hp, A cam 1 Stromberg carb

None of the lists that I have show a K cam (I have a couple lists that do not
show which cam was used.) But I seriously doubt a K cam was used in
automotive production before 1972 or 1973.

The configuration of dips next to the center headbolt above the manifold
mounting flange can tell you something about the ports and valves. No dips at
all is the latest and best.
