Interesting. I just checked and, sure enough, my manual 1990 745 16 valver has mounts that are set at an angle. That is consistent with the postings here - they are 'rubber' mounts, not 'hydraulic' mounts. So my question is: Why are the rubber ones used for the manual trannies and hydraulic for the automatics (save for the ZF)? Presumably, the hydraulic mounts are softer. Why would an automatic give more vibration?
