kick-down/shifting problem 200

It sounds like the cable is seized in the sheath or there's a problem with the cable connection internally. It's behaving like the cable is pulled as tightly as possible. I used to have that problem but it was always the cable jumping a ridge on the spool. Given your description, I'd say something is out of place on the spool inside the tranny. That's a fun one...BTDT...
