kick-down/shifting problem 200

Thanks for the feedback.

There seems to be unanimity in the advice, so it must be good.

I thought the problem might be in the tranny, not pulling the cable back in. A return spring, or something, but as long as I have to pull the pan and get all messy, it would be a shame not to put in a new cable while I'm there.
