Mufflers do not usually clog, cats do. If there is no problem with lower than norm gas mileage, or a rotten egg smell - or exhaust noise from underneath - I would not be concerned. I have had my share of old Volvos - with way more miles than that - and to this date I have never replaced a muffler.
Came close one time on a 940 with 240K on it - had developed a couple of holes on the back side of the muffler. Welded them shut - went right on.
