Pertronix install question 140-160 1973

I've only done this with the rotor cap off and points in.

So:

-- Motor rolled to 12 btdc.

-- Leave the rotor cap on. (high tension wire to the coil on or off?)

-- Jumper on the plug threads, plug laid on the block.

-- Rotate the distributor et voila!

Is that it?

I had an unpleasant experience with some decayed plug wires once. Yeeouch!
