The sate the head was manufactured is found in a stack of numbers at the rear passenger side of the head.

Would be Nov. 4, 1999 OR April 11, 1999. Can't remembner which way they do it. There is probably a similar set on the block, perhaps on the driver's side, but I am not sure about that.
