Hi Mike:
I painted the bumpers on both the 940 and the 240. Preparation is the key--used paint prep, cleaned it off well, and sprayed it with two coats of bumper paint that I bought at Advance Auto. Its lasted about 2 years on the 240 (did the 940 last year) and I did notice that there are a few spots flaking off so I'll touch up the paint. It really makes a huge difference, and, of course, no more Armor All necessary. I read someone else's post on here that they found they had to repaint every one and a half or two years.

Not difficult to do, and especially if you have it off the car since you won't have to do all that masking off.
