bumper paint?

hi all.
i need a front bumper plastic only for my daughters 94 940 and found one at the boneyard, but its dull looking and weathered.
does anyone have any experience with painting the plastic and what results did you have?
the car is pretty sweet and it needs to look good.
any help or info will be appreciated.
