Jim,

Are you torqueing you lugs to 63 ft lb? Over torqueing may cause rotor problems. I installed Brembos w/PBR ceramic pads on my daughter's 96 960 last spring. So far no problems. I did index them, installing them with the least run out measured with a dail gauge. I got my rotors from FCP Groton, can't recall the prices but I can assure you they are quite a bit less than IPD. Check out fcpgroton.com for much better prices on just about anything you'll need for your Brick. Import Part Specailists in Boise and AutoHaus in PHX AZ are good sources as well.
