I have done a lot of soldering and welding of several different kinds but
if it were mine I would take it to an old-time radiator shop. Those guys
have a lot of years of experience in both how to solder and what kind of
patches last a long time and what kind don't. Probably would be good to
have him put a reinforcing plate or flange around the neck. Mine got crax
radiating from the hole in the tank which needed to be covered and reinforced.
