They are not a very tight fit into the end of the crank.
Anything you can get in there behind it and pry a bit with will do it
after a few tries. I ground a 3/8" carriage bolt head eccentric to where
it stuck out on one side but would fit through the hole and used that to
pry them out. New one can be driven in with a block of 2x4 and a hammer,
then finished up with the outer race of the old one. BE SURE to put the
snap ring in so it doesn't work its way out!!
They are a very common bearing so you should have no problem finding a
replacement for less than $10.
