chrome plated almuninum just like the old emblems
Volvo trivia never ceases to amaze me. I had no idea they did that. So if yours is now bare aluminum that kind of shoots the hell out of the clearcoat suggestion.
I will post a pic tonight. In fact I took a quick shot of it already but the glare from the flash pretty much made it useless. I'll try it again.
