Status Update & Friend's PV Problem 444-544

Tony - If the plugs are getting spark. I would put a teaspoon of fresh gasoline directly down each carb.

Make sure the person turning the key realizes that the engine might rev right up and be prepared to shut it off if it revs high.

Also, be sure to install the air cleaners before you crank it, so that a backfire won't have disasterous results.

If it fires, a couple of attempts like this often gives enough engine revolutions to get the fuel flowing through the pump.

I have started several stored/junk cars using this method, as well as snow blowers, lawn mowers, etc.

After sitting for two weeks, my PV needs a few cranks to get fuel, the rest of the day it starts immediately.
