hello,
you may not need a tropical fan clutch, but Dave Barton sells them on his website.

i bought mine at the volvo site:
http://www.thevolvosite.com/shop/index.php?Cat=973&car_model=740

volvo part number 1357433. it's listed as a 740 turbo fan clutch, but it's for all 240's too.

$78 + free shipping on regular shipping method.

The regular fan clutch volvo part number is 1306259.

the tropical fan clutch cfm of air is significant compared to the regular clutch.
